Plough Court is a selection of properties which were converted in the 1990's to form a small community. The only similarity the properties share is their enviable location - each home has its own character and differing accommodation.
No. 5 Is to the northern side of the development with parking in front of the property and a garage. The accommodation is reverse level and you enter into an entrance hallway. This lower floor used to have three bedrooms but the current owners have converted one of the bedrooms to form a dressing room for the main bedroom. Off the hallway to the right hand side there is the smaller of the bedrooms with a window to the front aspect and a large double storage cupboard. The main bedroom enjoys a double aspect with a window to the rear overlooking the communal courtyard and additional light from the dressing room from the front window, there is a fitted double wardrobe and open plan to the dressing room with two fitted double wardrobes at each end. Stairs rise from the entrance hallway to a split level landing with a door opening to the garden to the rear and door into the bathroom. The bathroom has been recently fitted with a white suite comprising; panelled bath with shower over, low level WC with concealed cistern and wash hand basin set into countertop and vanity unit underneath. A further set of stairs rise from the split level landing to the living space.
The living space is a large open room enjoying a double aspect with windows to the front and rear. A focal central fireplace to one wall houses a regularly serviced wood burner, which is perfect for those cosy winter nights. Just off the living room there is a kitchen which has been fitted with a range of wall and base mounted storage units set under work surface areas with inset sink/drainer. Spaces remain for a range of appliances including: electric cooker, washing machine and fridge/freezer. The kitchen is separated from the main living space by a sliding solid-wood pocket door.
The front garden has been predominantly laid to lawn with a path leading to the front door. The lawn has been edged by mixed planting including mature trees. There is pull in parking for approximately two cars and a single garage opposite. At the top of Plough Court there is a visitors parking area for multiple cars.
The rear garden commences off the split level landing. It has been predominantly laid to lawn edged by mixed planting. The front and rear gardens are easily maintained but are well stocked including: cherry blossom, flowering camellias, climbing jasmines and a couple of productive apple trees.
Located a short distance from the property there is a log/garden store with a shared access with one of the neighbours.
Plough Court is in a small and quiet tucked away position in Roskrow. The current vendors have enjoyed this countryside position taking advantage of the clear night skies and visiting Fauna. There are several stunning walks nearby including Laity Moor, Stithians Reservoir, around the Carrick Roads and Helford River. The hamlet of Roskrow is little known but enjoys convenient access into several larger towns: Penryn (1.5 miles), Falmouth (4 miles), Redruth (7 miles) and Truro (7.5 miles). Main shopping facilities can be found in each of these towns and a wider range of amenities.
